Machelle Lynn Fontenot, 54, of Pittsburg, died unexpectedly Oct. 10, 2022, at her home. She was born Oct. 2, 1968, in Joplin, the daughter of George and Linda (Matzenbacher) Primm.
On Aug. 22, 1998, she was united in marriage to Timothy Fontenot in Pittsburg.
Machelle was a Personal Banker at Commerce Bank for 28 years. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, spending time with family, and an occasional card game with her friends.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Fontenot of Pittsburg; sister Tammy Totman of Pittsburg and boyfriend Kelly Hale of Frontenac; step-mother Claudia Primm of Athens, Georgia; half-sister Sylvia Primm of Athens, Georgia; two step-children Jennifer Nall of Wichita, Kansas, and T.J Fontenot of Anderson, Missouri; and granddaughter Skyler Nall.
Machelle was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at the funeral home. Friends may call after 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
