Jason Lee Hill, 48, of Columbus, Kansas, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 in Pittsburg, Kansas, following a short illness.
Jason was born Feb. 10, 1974 in Columbus, the son of David Lee and Teressa G. (Hale) Hill. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Columbus High School. Jason worked for a utility company repairing electrical lines after natural disasters. He also worked as a concrete finisher and a printing press operator. Jason was of the Christian faith; he loved fishing, motorcycles, dirt bikes, dogs and reptiles. He will be most remembered for his love of his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include his mother; children Shawna-Gilliland-Root of Columbus, Brody Wayne Hill of Pittsburg, Kansas, Briley Nelson and husband Orville of Fort Riley, Kansas, Tucker Hill of Calera, Alabama, Cypress Hill of Calera, and Lylah Hill of Calera; step-father Robert West of Columbus; sister Carly Rowton of Kansas and four grandchildren.
Jason was preceded in death by his father and daughter Gracey Hill.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
