Danny Lee Bitner, age 79, of Pittsburg KS. passed away at the Guest Home Estates with his daughter and nephew Eric at his side. He was born June 14, 1945, to Marie (Dieu) & Veron “Lee” Bitner. Danny graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1963. Danny started working for PittCraft Printing in 1961. He then went to work for Sun Graphics in Parsons in 1981. After his daughter gave up her mowing business he took it over for 20 years. The most enjoyable thing in his life was seeing his daughter play basketball. Even though he did get thrown out of a couple games. Danny was a great bowler. Winning a 300 ring and many tournaments. He also loved to golf. Survivors are his daughter Danna (John) Daniel, two grandsons Logan Gideon of Belton, Mo and Devin Gideon of Omaha NB. One son Cameron Bitner of Kansas City and a nephew Eric (Jamie) Bitner of Pittsburg KS. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie Bitner, father Vernon Lee Bitner and a brother Dennis Bitner. Funeral arrangements will be with close family at a later date.
