Alyce A. Hanney, 98, of Pittsburg, died July 15, 2022, at Oakview Estates in Pittsburg, Kansas.
She was born March 12, 1924, in Texas, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Divin Homolac. She had been a resident of Pittsburg since 1989, moving from Stanley, Kansas.
She married Jack Hanney on Feb. 23, 1949, and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2020.
Mrs. Hanney had been a homemaker for most of her life.
Survivors include three sons Paul E. Hanney of Pittsburg, Jere Hanney of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Mark Hanney of Overland Park, Kansas; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, one brother Joe Homolac, and five sisters: Helen Homolac, Marie Krob, Agnes Peterka, Christina Halek, and Mildred Dosedlo.
Celebration of Life service and burial will be at a later date at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas.
