Allene J. Wahl, 93, of Pittsburg, died on Oct. 24, 2022, at Accession Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
She was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of David and Ethel (Gregory) Price.
She was a high school graduate from Northeast High School in Kansas City.
Allene was united in marriage to Robert Wahl in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2005.
She had a servant's heart and enjoyed caring for others. She worked as a private nurse aide for the elderly for many years.
Allene was a member of the Daughters of Rebekah women's group. She collected dolls and Santa figurines.
Survivors include three daughters, Patty Gerlt of Claycomo, Missouri, Denise Duff of Columbia, Missouri, and Rozie Mein of Pittsburg, Kansas; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Allene was preceded in death by her parents, David Price and Ethel Chunn; step-dad, Ed Chunn; son, Mark Redenbaugh; two sisters, Shirley Crabtree and Barbara Young; and son, Earl Wayne Redenbaugh.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
